ANTOR ON TOUR
In the beginning of October in 2014, ANTOR went on a traditional roadshow to Malmö and Göteborg. 16 of our 43 members left their offices for a bit of adventure. The aim of ANTOR on Tour is to network and meet media and the travel industry in both cities. Most members have their main offices in Stockholm or outside of Sweden, so the opportunities to meet our friends in these parts of Sweden are small.
On 1st of October we arrived to Liseberg Inn in Göteborg, a picturesque place within the famous Liseberg amusement park. Our invitation was kindly accepted by more than 40 travel agencies and media representatives. Welcomed by a glass of sparkling wine, they first enjoyed workshop part, with our countries’ hosting tables. It was a time for exchanging hugs between old friends and making new acquaintances, sharing updates and new information - very busy...
Later in the evening a buffet dinner was served and everyone got the chance to mingle with new and old acquaintances. But the attraction of the evening was yet to come. The karaoke "Idol"- style contest raised many laughs and for some of our guests also some very nice prizes. We had a great event and all enjoyed it very much.
Next day our roadshow crew moved to the capitol of Skåne, where we occupied the well-known Sankt Gertrud Konferens. We created a small, middle-aged-atmosphere where almost 70 guests enjoyed a workshop and mingle with the participating countries. The set up was very similar to the day before and the relaxed crowd enjoyed a fantastic karaoke show with lots of cheering from the audience.
All the members that participated in the event were very satisfied with the results of both events, so beware Göteborg and Malmö - WE WILL RETURN!
