VISIT SERBIA

Situated at the intersection between the East and the West, Serbia is a combination of ancient cultures and civilizations with a charming mix of traditional and modern ways.
If you ever visit Serbia you will be won over by its culture, natural beauty and warmheartedness and hospitality. Visitors will enjoy an amazing diversity of habitats including plains, wetllands and mountains. Those that are thrilled with untouched nature may enjoy the forests, springs, rivers, lakes and geysers. Serbia boasts of the largest sandy desert called Deliblatska Peščara and of the only jungle area in Europe called Peručac.

On Mt. Zlatibor visitors can be pampered in our spas or just enjoy a slow walk or a horeseback ride over its endless undulating, hilly and fragrant meadows. For more serious adventurers Tara Mountain offers extreme mountain climbing and mountain biking. In the mountains hikers may observe wildlife or even track their footprints. Bird watchers will enjoy viewing almost 400 different species of birds which can be found here. The country's beauty and natural diversity make it a must to see for all tourists.

There is plenty of history to be discovered with archeolocical sites from the Neolithic and Mesolithic era, antiant Roman heritage, medievel monasteries and historic churches ( numerous monuments in Serbia are to be found on UNESCO World Heritage List).

A visit to a traditional village will provide a glimpse into the forgotten traditional way of life and allows you an escape from everyday hectic life style. Peace and delicious food all surrounded by a genuine openheartedness are things which you will certainly discover in a visit to a village or farmstead where the traditional way of life has been preserved.

With more than 300 mineral and thermal water springs Serbia is one of the richest geothermal regions in Europe. Mineral waters from Serbia are among the best in Europe and many spas bottle their water and sell it all over the world. There are numerous activities for everyone: culture, sport and entertainment, Numerous anti-stress, beauty or wellness treatments are offered to you.

We are sure that visitors of Serbia will enjoy many different aspects of Serbian culture from the cosmopolitan feel of the big cities to its exotic and undiscovered regions.
